Editing Mod to Proposal (CAH1)

If you are editing a previously created modification, go to ‘My cdpACCESS’ or ‘Current Cycle’ , then click on Modifications to Proposals (CAH1), then click on the Mod name in the listing to open the proposal. If you need to first create a new Mod, follow the instructions here: Create Mod to Proposal

    1. Add code sections to the online mod by clicking on the Add button in the left-hand column.
    2. You may add code sections from three places: the original proposal, the codebook, or by creating a new code section
      1. Import from Proposal: You will see the code sections in the proposals as published in the CAH1 Agenda for that proposal, with markup.  Select the code sections you’d like to add and click Import.
      2. Import from Codebooks: You will be able to select a book, chapter, and section.  Check the box next to the relevant code section and click Import.
      3. Add New Section: You will be able to select a book, chapter, and section.  Check the box next to the relevant code section and click Import.
    3. The code sections in the modification will appear in a list on the left-hand side of the screen.  Click on one and choose ‘Edit’ to modify it.  All code sections must be marked up manually using the strikethrough and underline tools at the top of the editor.
    4. If you have not already signed a Copyright form this cycle, or you need to sign a new form, click the ‘Copyright’ tab at the top of the editor to sign a copyright form.
    5. Click the ‘Preview’ tab to preview how your mod will look online and projected at the Hearings.
    6. Click the ‘Build’ tab again and go to ‘Finalize and Submit’ to submit your proposal.
