After all code change proposals/public comments are received through cdpACCESS they will be reviewed by Code Council staff for completeness and then categorized by topic for consideration by subcommittees. Subcommittees will then review the proposals. The subcommittees may elect to combine multiple proposals on the same topic or develop additional or substitute language. Once the subcommittee has reached consensus, they make a recommendation to the full committee on how to resolve the proposal. The committee will consider the recommendation and can accept or reject it. The committee may request that the subcommittee re-examine the proposal, starting the review and recommendation process again.
