How to Enter and Submit CEU Activity for Option 05: Non-ICC or Non-ICC Preferred Provider Participation as a student or instructor for an onsite seminar/technical session or online (eLearning) program

Note

This Activity Includes:

  • Non-ICC or Non-ICC Preferred Provider Participation as a student or instructor for an onsite seminar/technical session or online (eLearning) program.
  • Includes seminars/technical sessions delivered by:
    • ICC Chapters
    • related professional association
    • state code enforcement licensing agency
    • standards writing organization
    • or any related federally sponsored program
  • Credit is only provided for classes in
    an academic program that are related to code, building design/construction and support activities.

CEU Qualification

  • This option qualifies only for the remaining percentage
    of CEUs needed for renewal after the minimum 50% of ICC/PPN Training CEUs required has been fulfilled.
  • 0.1 for each clock hour of attendance

  1. After selecting Option 5 in CEU Activity Option
  2. Type in the name of your CEU Provider.
  3. For CEU Activity Name, type in the name of the ICC technical Session that was delivered.
  4. Select your Activity Role as Student or Instructor.
  5. For the Activity Quantity, type in the number of hours for the activity—this will be the amount of CEUs counted for this activity. For instance, if it says .6 on your certificate put in 6 in this box to reflect the actual number of hours).
  6. Enter your CEU Activity Date. When you click on the box, a calendar will appear for you to select your date. (NOTE:  The date you attended or completed the CEU activity must be within the past three years or it will not count for CEUs).
  7. Click the Agreement is Required icon to confirm: “By Clicking Save, I Certify That I’ve Accurately Represented This CEU Activity.” Then click Save.

Your newly entered CEU will display on your myICC Dashboard.
