Where can I find and download this product?
You can find the Add-In for Revit on both the ICC website located here:

What are the system requirements for using this product?
This Add-In works with Autodesk® Revit® 2024, Autodesk® Revit® 2023, and Autodesk® Revit® 2022.
Operating System(s): 64-bit Microsoft® Windows® 10 or Windows® 11
Memory: 8 GB RAM – 16 GB RAM (Based on Revit®)
Display: 1680 x 1050 with true color
How do I install this App to my version of Autodesk Revit?
Make sure your copy of Autodesk Revit is closed when running this installer. When you downloaded this add-in to your desktop simply double-click the download to start the install process. In some cases, you may need to restart Revit product to enable the Add-in.
How do I find the version number of this product?
Inside the Add-In Toolbar, select the About icon. Inside this information screen, you’ll be able to see which Version of the Add-In you are using.
How do I know if a new version of this product is available?
The automated product update feature will include new features and functionality, important bug fixes and improvements, and compatibility with newer versions of Revit and its updates as they are released.
When a new version is available, you will see a red dot next to the About icon in the Toolbar. Inside this information screen, you’ll see “Update Available” and a link to download the new version.
I have Norton Antivirus installed and when I start this product within Revit, I see an alert. What action should I take?
If you see an alert from Norton Antivirus you can safely select “Allow Always.” We may not have a current digital signature on our application which sets this type of alert off.
When I start this product within Revit, I see an alert. What action should I take?
If you see a security alert from Revit when you boot up after installing our App, you can safely select “Always Load” We may not have a current digital signature on our application which sets this type of alert off inside Revit.
Should I uninstall this product before installing a new version of this product?
It’s always a good idea to uninstall this product (see Add/Remove Programs in your Windows Settings) prior to installing a new version. If you don’t, the current version will just overwrite the older version you already have installed.
How do I uninstall this product?
To uninstall this add-in, exit Autodesk Revit if you are currently running it, and then select the “Uninstall” button within your Windows>Settings>Apps>Installed Apps menu; then locate and uninstall the ICC Digital Codes Premium Revit Add-In as you would any other application from your system.

Why does my session automatically sign out after 30 minutes?
If you do not select the “Keep me logged in for 30 days” your session will log you out automatically after 30 minutes for security reasons. Once you select this option, you will remain logged into the ICC site for 30 days or less if you decide to log out on your own.
BASIC NAVIGATION
Will this product dock in Revit like other palettes/dialogs?
This dialog/window will not dock inside of the Revit UI, but instead floats over it and alongside. The reason for this is to provide you with the most display space for working in Revit while enabling you to move this window around to fit your needs as you design.
How can I login and logout of the Digital Codes service?
You can sign into the Digital Codes service by selecting the “Login” icon on the Revit ribbon. Which will bring up the Home Screen where you can select “Sign In” to get access to this service. Once you are logged in, you can use the “Logout” icon in the Revit ribbon to sign out of the service.
How can I navigate the Building Codes site from within this Add-In?
Inside of the Codes Library, there are three navigation buttons at the top of this dialog in order from left to right: BACKWARD, FORWARD, and REFRESH. Each command works like a traditional browser menu as you’re navigating the content pages.
How do I close any dialog within this Add-In?
In the upper right of this dialog/window there is a “X” which will let you close this Add-In. You can always restart it using the Codes Library icon in the Revit Add-Ins section of the ribbon.

How to Navigate My Library
My Library is a time-saving dashboard that helps you find titles quickly. It displays your history so that you can easily return to titles that you purchased, marked as Favorites, or viewed recently. How to Perform Advanced Searches

How to Create Notes
You can use the Note tool to add comments or questions to a specific section of a digital title. You can also add a tag to a Note, a time-saving feature when searching a digital code title for a specific comment. For more information, visit our help topic page located here:

Project Information
With our Project Information feature, you can now document your project information with applicable building codes and save it with your Revit project file(s) enabling project knowledge sharing and workflows between designers on your team.
Click on the Project Info icon in the App Menu to get started.
You can fill out all aspects of the Project this RVT file is associated with including Name, Location, Project Type, Jurisdiction, and Description. You can also select the proper code for each discipline that this project is utilizing.
The Project information you’ve entered here will be also copied into the Revit Project Information feature for this particular RVT file and can be shared with others on your design team. If there is preexisting content in the Revit Project Information feature for your RVT file, it will appear in this App’s Project Info dialog.
How to Insert a Building Code Summary Table/Schedule
With our Building Code Summary feature, you can seamlessly link a comprehensive project code summary schedule directly onto your title sheet. Updating your project building codes automatically updates the linked schedule in Revit, streamlining your workflow and reducing the risk of errors in your documentation.
Once you save your information, the Project Information feature will automatically create a Revit schedule documenting your Project’s building, structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire and energy codes.
Drag and drop the “Building Code Schedule” from the Revit Schedules section in the Revit Project Browser and place it on any sheet. If you make any changes in the Project Information dialog, those will automatically update this Building Code Summary schedule.
How to automatically tag Favorites from your project’s building code assignment(s)
Once you fill out the Project Information dialog with applicable codes for the project this Revit file is associated with, those titles will automatically be favorited on the website.
In the Codes Library, select MENU and then MANAGE FAVORITES to see the titles you’ve applied to this Revit file.
How to automatically add a project tag when you finish filling out the Project Information dialog
Once you fill out the Project Information dialog with a Project Title for this Revit file, we will automatically add a new Project Tag on the website.
In the Codes Library, select MENU, PREMIUM TOOLS, and then MY PROJECT TAGS to see the tag you’ve applied to this Revit file.
Use Project Tags to organize notes in any format, such as topics (e.g. Plumbing) or a project address (e.g., 123 Main Street).
What is the AI (Artificial Intelligence) Navigator?
ICC AI Navigator offers quick, helpful replies to basic code questions, and is programmed to help users navigate our I-Codes like an expert.
AI Navigator uses Large Language Model (LLM) artificial intelligence to provide answers and guidance to the relevant code content for users of our Digital Codes platform. LLM AI tools like AI Navigator benefit from use and feedback by real users under real conditions. ICC has done extensive internal testing of this tool, but we intend to use feedback from our Beta to further refine and update it.
You must have an active Premium subscription to access this feature. If you are not a Premium user, you can visit the AI Navigator features page to know more about it – https://codes.iccsafe.org/features/ai-navigator
Currently, AI Navigator is trained to answer simple code questions using the 2021 I-Codes (or 2018/2015 if desired). Expansion for support across custom code titles will be added in the future.
What is Premium Answers?
Premium Answers delivers a constantly expanding searchable database of questions and their carefully crafted interpretations from the ICC team of technical experts. Support for expedited custom questions is upcoming.
