  2. Enable Auto-Renew from Your Billing Page
  3. What if I’m a Concurrent User and Not the Account Admin?
  4. What if I Originally Subscribed with a Coupon and Need to Add New Payment Details?
  5. What if My Account Already Expired and I Need to Renew?

1. Overview

Users can opt-in to auto-renew directly from their billing page, eliminating the risk of losing premium tools and features such as access to notes, bookmarks, and code intelligence tools. Simply click the gold “Enable Auto-Renew” button on your billing page next to the appropriate subscription to activate auto-renew. Additionally, expiration warning notifications will now appear on both the billing page and dashboard to keep users informed about their subscription status.

2. Enable Auto-Renew from Your Billing Page

To enable auto-renew for your subscription, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to your Billing Page by selecting “Billing” from the Account menu.
  2. Locate the subscription you’d like to make changes to in the Premium Subscriptions table.
  3. Click the Enable Auto-Renew button.

4. Review the change details including subscription title, duration and card on file. Click “Submit”.

5. You will then see confirmation at the top of your Billing page that the Enable Auto-Renew change has been made. Additionally, you will receive an email confirmation verifying your auto-renew activation.

By enabling auto-renew, you ensure that your subscription continues without interruption, granting you seamless access to Premium features.

3. What if I’m a Concurrent User and Not the Account Admin?

If you are a concurrent user and not the account admin, you will receive an in-app notification on your dashboard and billing page informing you that your subscription is set to expire soon. This notification is a reminder to contact your account administrator to ensure that your subscription remains active.

4. What if I Originally Subscribed with a Coupon and Need to Add New Payment Details?

For users who originally subscribed with a coupon, a logic check will trigger an in-app notification indicating the expiration date of your subscription. If you wish to continue using the service, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the notification message, which will prompt you to add a new credit card.
  2. You will be directed to your Subscription Information Page.
  3. Enter your payment details and save the new card.
  4. Opt-in to Auto-Renew to ensure continued service.

This extra step ensures that users transitioning from a coupon-based subscription can seamlessly renew their access.

5. What if My Account Already Expired and I Need to Renew?

If your subscription has already expired, you still have the opportunity to renew within 15 days. During this grace period, you will see an in-app message stating:

“Your Premium Subscription has recently expired. Select ‘Resubscribe Now’ to reactivate your Premium benefits.”

To reactivate your subscription:

  1. Click the “Resubscribe Now” button from the in-app message.
  2. Confirm cart details for title, duration and quantity before proceeding to payment details.
  3. Once the transaction is completed, you will receive an email receipt and Premium subscription access will be restored.

Conclusion

The new auto-renew functionality simplifies the subscription management process, reducing the risk of service interruption. Whether you are a primary account holder, a concurrent user, or transitioning from a non auto-renew subscription, these enhancements ensure a seamless experience. Be sure to enable auto-renew today and continue enjoying uninterrupted access to Premium features!
