How will the content in the Code be approved by the development committee?

The IECC development committees (residential and commercial) will have the final say on content of the IECC. The vote on whether to include the proposed language in the public comment draft will be based on a majority (50%+1) vote of the committee. In response to comments on the public review draft, acceptance of proposed changes would require a two-thirds vote from the committee. A two-thirds vote is also required to approve the code for publication.
