What happens if a committee member leaves a jurisdiction or their organization in the middle of a development cycle or is otherwise unable to continue on the committee?

If a committee member is no longer able to continue on the committee, the Code Council Board of Directors will make a new appointment. If the original committee member has designated an alternate, the Board may consider that alternate for the open seat. In some cases, committee members may express interest in re-applying for a committee position in a different interest category based on their new organization for the which the Code Council Board may consider such a re-appointment.
