ICC strongly recommends contacting the jurisdiction in which you want to work for their requirements. Some jurisdictions require specific certification or contractor exams, and we don’t want you to take an exam you don’t need to take. While we’re familiar with many jurisdictional requirements, we want to make sure you have the most up-to-date information available, and thus refer you back to your city, county, or state.
