You are now able to add or remove licenses from your subscription at any time. This means that as more or less licenses become needed, you can easily alter your subscription without waiting for your subscription period to end.
To add or remove licenses from your subscription, open your billing page controls. This can be found under your account details located in the top right corner of the codes.iccsafe.org homepage. Hover the mouse over the gold profile icon to see a list of options, then click “Billing”.
This will then take you to your billing controls page seen below:
In order to be able to change the license quantity of your active Premium Subscriptions, you must have “Auto-Renew” selected as your payment type in order to utilize the “Change License Quantity” feature.
Under the “Premium Subscriptions” heading you will see a list of all your active subscriptions. To add or remove licenses from your subscriptions, click the three vertical dots below “Actions” and select “Change License Quantity”. In this example, we’ll change the license quantity of the 2021 International Building Code (IBC).
This will then open the below seen dialogue box. Here you can add or remove licenses for the selected title. If you want to add an additional license of this title, you can click the “+” sign to do so in the “license quantity” section. Below you will see that we’ve increased the license quantity from 3 to 4. You will also see any applicable discounts, your billing frequency choice, auto-renew date, and how the price has changed from adding a license.
The same process applies for removing a license from your subscription. Select “-” to lower the quantity of licenses you need. You will then also see when the auto-renew begins and the change in price. Once you’ve completed your changes, select the gold “Review” button.
This will then take you to “Review Subscription Change” where you can preview your changes before finishing. Here you will see a summary of your license quantity changes, applied discounts, how your pricing will change from the increase or decrease in numbers of licenses, and your auto-renew payment method.
Once you’ve completed your license quantity change transaction, you will then receive a confirmation email. Overall, the purpose of this update is for users to easily add or remove licenses. This update provides the flexibility to modify your subscription at any time, allowing you to adjust your subscription without waiting for the current period to end.
